Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on the 8th of October, 1968. She was Ainsley Hayes's character on The West Wing, a NBC political drama (2000-2002 in 2006) and Det. Calleigh Duquesne, CBS's police procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Early life



 Procter was born on October 8 1988. William Procter, an obstetrician, adopted her as an infant . He also adopted Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. She was born in Raleigh. She was 3 years old at the time her parents divorced. She is the older sister of Whit who is adopted.



 



 Procter graduated from Ravenscroft School in Raleigh. While attending East Carolina University, Procter joined the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. Procter worked as a television anchor for the news channel WNCT in Greenville, North Carolina. After graduation, she earned degrees in journalism dance.
